The College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences’ Office of International Programs will award a limited number of CAES graduate students with an International Travel Award from July 2025 through June 2026. This award provides up to $2,000 in the form of roundtrip international airfare. All funded travel must be completed by September 30, 2026. Airfare must be purchased by June 10, 2026.
How to apply:
Competitive applicants will propose to use the award for travel associated with an international internship or to conduct research and/or training abroad. Please note: these funds are not available to students attending and/or presenting at international conferences.
Applications can be submitted throughout the year and will be reviewed quarterly. Application deadlines for quarterly review are as follows:
- Sept. 7, 2025
- Dec. 1, 2025
- March 1, 2026
- May 17, 2026

- Essay (max 3 pages) describing:
- Your current degree program and objectives
- The proposed travel: purpose and its potential impact on your professional career
- Your plans to cover the remaining travel expenses
